I just read an article about BMW bringing out an entire new line of cars, the 1 series. It is going to be BMW's smallest car available. Although this car is small BMW is not skimping on the engine that makes their cars fast. Instead of putting in a standard four banger as expected in a car this size, they are putting in inline six. That means that the new BMW 128i will be sporting the same engine as its big brother the 328i. We are talking about 230 horsepower and 200 pound-feet of torque in a car that weighs a lot less than big brother. This little thing is going to be a rocket. Not only will this one be fast, they have another step up in the 135i that will be sporting a twin turbo 3.0 liter that hits 300 horsepower. BMW may be making them smaller but their engines still got what it takes.
