There are a lot of crazy things out in the world. There are more unexplainable acts and occurences around the world than I would ever care to see. Yet there are still so many people out there that do not believe in the paranormal. The unexplainable has been around longer than anyone can remember, long before our own existense. Some simple things, like da javu, something no one can explain but everyone experiences. Some things more complex, like the bermuda triangle. A place where the very nature of gravity is defied and more planes and ships were lost than anywhere else on the planet.

Think about it. The Loch Ness monster, bigfoot, the abominable snowman, ghosts, crop circles and angels. Not to mention so many other things that can not be explained, yet they are very often experienced. That is pretty much the basis for this new 1408 Movie. It is about a man, John Cusack, who loses his daughter and becomes obsessed with the paranormal. He hears of a room where no guests have lasted more than one hour alive and it has killed more than 50 people. So he investigates in an attempt to find the afterlife. With amazing special effects and just enough creepiness to keep you freaked out 1408 Movie has all the makings of a great horror/thriller. Check it out.
