New Stuff

There are all kinds of new shows starting up in January and I have to say that I am a bit excited. Okay, so they are not new as much as they are shows that are coming back. But they are new seasons so I can't wait to see them. Shows like Monk, Flashpoint, The Closer and most importantly Lost. I love that show. I am usually more lost than the people on the island but I love every minute of it.

When I first saw that there was this new show out with Christian Slater I got excited. I can't remember the last good movie I saw with Christian Slater but I have been a fan since Pump up the Volume came out. I have to say that this new show he has on is actually very entertaining. It has several levels to the show and the overall storyline is fun. You have to check it out if you haven't seen it already.

Well, I am sad to say that last week on Survivor the one guy that I was voting for went home. I really wanted to see Marcus take the game all the way to the end. Not only was he a good guy that seems to have serious control of the game but he is also from my hometown. He got completely blindsided at the end though making him the first member of the jury.

After finally getting the chance to see the season premier of CSI, the original version. I have to say that I was very saddened to see that Warrick Brown, one of my favorite CSI cast members, was killed off. It was an absolute shame as his character was a great one. He is going to be sadly missed and with the rumors of Grissom leaving the show soon too I am not sure I am going to even want to watch it anymore. I say keep the whole cast and get rid of all of the CSI Miami cast. Most of them are awful anyway.

I am not sure exactly why I love this show so much. I mean I know there are several things about it that make it so good for me. For one the fact that these guys are a lot like my family and I can relate to that. The second probably being that it is filmed and based about 45 minutes from my hometown. The third being that the writing and the overall storyline is incredible. I just love this show, I could talk about it all day long and not get tired of it. I can't wait for another episode to come out.
