New Stuff

Everyone and I mean everyone wants to stay young for as long as possible. I don't know anyone over the age of 25 that actually looks forward to growing older. I mean sure when you are a kid you can't wait to grow up but the moment you do you wish you were a kid again. That is why things like botox and wrinkle cream are so popular. You can pretty much buy wrinkle cream at the local convenient store now it is in such high demand. I guess no one wants to grow old gracefully anymore.

With the swimsuit season upon us, I have been doing a little shopping. And I have come to the realization that when it comes to women's bathing suits, the less material a swimsuit is the more it costs. Especially when it comes to a one piece versus a bikini. Why can you buy a one piece with all kinds of fabric for around $60, yet that same pattern and manufacturer in a bikini costs over $100. You are buying less than 25% of the material that you are purchasing in a single piece. It makes no sense to me. I have a real problem with these kind of things.

It is kind of like when I go to a fast food place and ask them to hold the onions and add extra tomatoes and they charge me extra for the tomatoes. Shouldn't the fact that I removed the onions break me even. I don't think that is right. So I always make them give me my burgers with everything on them and then I throw away the stuff I don't want. I figure they make me pay for it anyway, why should I save them any money. Just my perspective, maybe I am alone on this one.

My wife's best friends wedding is coming up and there is so much to do. She is a wonderful lady who has finally found the perfect man for her and we can't wait to attend the ceremony. We live in Florida and the wedding is in California so it will be quite a little trip, but it will be worth it. The Mrs. is so excited she can't contain herself, she absolutely loves weddings. It has been all she can talk about lately. Being a bridesmaid she wants to help in any way possible so she has been looking at all kinds of wedding magazines and websites. She has looked at everything from dresses to pictures to wedding favor ideas. Anything that has to do with a wedding and she is all over it. Well, it is next month so I will post more about it after it is over.
